Taipei in Taiwan; Day 1 & 2 (中正纪念堂 & 九份)

On board TransAsia airlines for the first time to Tao Yuan Airport in Taipei!

The food is alright but they have really tasty snacks whereby they serve before and after meals. Absolutely love love! It was a comfortable flight to and fro Taiwan.

 Upon reaching Tao Yuan Airport

Here's the awesome hotel rooms which is super walkable distance to Xi Men Ding! I can't remember whats the name of the Hotel. But i remembered its EFCA or something? Very common in Taipei like Holiday Inn in Singapore. With Free Wifi! Thats the best thing when you're overseas!! Heh.

 For the first day when we were there, the first thing we ate was AH ZHONG MEE SUA. Honestly it tastes really good! Walked around Xi Men Ding and explore part of Xi Men Ding. I can't remember where did we really go on the first day when we were in Taipei. I only remembered eating lots of yummy food.

One of the first few places we went is the famous "Da Bian" restaurant in Taipei!! Had a great time playing with the toilet bowls and eating from toilet bowls!! Haha.

For Day 2 we were guided by tour :)

So it was some sightseeing place which includes 中正纪念堂 & 九份! One of the place that I am really looking forward to! We went to visit some famous fortune-teller shop as well! They taught us how to calculate our luck and name! Kinda interesting too.

Went to the famous Zhong Zhen Ji Nian Tang (中正纪念堂) in Taipei to watch the change over of guards. Heard that it happens every hour if I'm not wrong. The weather was so hot and the guards are sweating like mad. I wonder how they can withstand the weather and not smile or wipe their sweat.

 

 

Soon after we headed to beautiful Jiu Fen (九份)
We simply just walk along the road and back to where we were. Because of time constraint, we didn't really have much time to explore the whole of Jiu Fen. But there's this shoe shop which I kinda like and they sell really nice shoes and affordable price.

 

Tried Snails for the first time! Yummy. 

 

 

Ended the 2nd day in Taiwan with Shilin Ye Shi (士林夜市)! Out of the 6 days 5 nights in Taipei, we've been to countless night market! And out of 2 nights we went back to Shilin, cause the place is really too huge and we just shouldn't missed it! Will blogged more about it during my next post about night market in Taipei.
