EVENT: Sunsilk Weather Defense

Thank You SunSilk Singapore and The Sample Store for inviting me to attend SunSilk Weather Defense Launch! I've learn alot in the talk and I'm gonna share it with all of you:)

We were given a set of press release for our reference.

.
.
.

Shawn, the brand manager of Sun Silk Singapore gave all of us a really informative talk about our hair structure and the background of Sun Silk's 7 expert. And for Sun Silk's latest launch, Weather Defense, they collaborated with Teddy Charles, a hair stylist expert. He styled many super models and celebrity. I goggled him and found several pictures of him.His concerns for models is that when doing an outdoor shoot, most models set their hair but always having to re-set it again due to the weather damage. Weather damage includes sun, wind and rain. Hence by launching this whole series of Weather Defense, it is believe to be able to fight harsh weather condition and allow your hair to retain its natural moisture etc.

Shawn demonstrating to us how to apply the leave-on conditional:)
First, you have to pump one pump onto your palm and rub it evenly before applying onto your wet hair. For leave-on conditional it is best to put it on your wet hair and allow it to dry with your hair.

Singapore's weather is mostly hot and humid. Unlike countries with 4 seasons, during winter season, normally our hair will tend to be in better condition as in cold weathers, moisture loss is lesser compared to humid weather like Singapore.

Shawn explain our hair like a metal rod!
When you put a metal rod in hot water, your hair expand, and when you put a metal rod in cold water, your hair contract. This is the same example as our hair.
Due to the expand and contract situation, it makes our hair damage:(

About the SunSilk Series,
It is believe to smell like one of Teddy Charles favourite Model but i forgotten her name. Let me know if anyone of you still remember!

We are all told that we used the wrong way for our conditional! Normally we shampoo our hair and put on condition, then rinse off. Which is WRONG.

The correct way of using our conditional is,
massage your conditional lightly at your ends first, then shampoo your hair and rinse off the conditional together.

I've always have this problem with my hair as my hair is very fragile. It is prone to breakage and very very dry. When I'm in Bangkok, my hair got super dry and it curled up like a dust ball. Which sucks. I thought my hair is hopeless till I came back and shampoo and condition it everyday. So i truly believe that weather can be of a damage to our hair just like how sun can damage our skin.
.
.
.

I've been using SunSilk Weather Defense series for a few days and I am truly amazed.
I love the smell of it and love especially the serum.

Apply the leave-on conditional when your hair is wet and allow your hair to dry naturally. This is how my hair looks like when its dry. I'm really impressed with the leave-on conditional. I didn't use any hot iron etc. After that, I put the serum to nourish and further moisturize my hair.My hair looks great! After using the series of Sunsilk weather defense!

I truly enjoyed myself at the event with free Ben&Jerry for all of us and I went home with a better knowledge of my hair and how to take care of my hair. I hope my post is helpful to you.
Try it yourself now!! :)
