Back in 18th - 20th May 2012, I went to Phuket for the first time:)
Once we reached Phuket's Airport, stepped out and everything seems rather chaotic.

Reached one of their local convenience store. Selling their local products, got free samples to try. Hehe.
And so, we stopped by this Honey Making store and bought their ice-cream and get con by the tour guide telling us all about their honey.
And Phuket is really famous for Elephant. Okay, basically, elephant is a significant animal in Thailand! Had the chance to take photo with baby elephants! But im just too timid to even touch them. Lol, poor Anni. hahah.
Pretty room:)Headed straight out once we've checked in!
Here's the beautiful swimming pool in our resort! there's a pool bar by the side as well. Simply can't wait to soak ourselves into the pool:)Right outside our Resort is actually Hard Rock Cafe:) It can be a little noisy if you don't like those live music in the night time but we went back all tired and sleepy that we couldn't be bothered with the music. Actually Phuket is a easy accessible place. It only has two main street side by side which looks just like Bugis street and then directly opposite of it is Patong Beach. There's alot of tourists around. So the place is like a tourist attraction. And imo i feel that its safer than Bangkok. This is the famous banana pancake in Phuket which is a must-try!:) it has thin cust like the prata yet wrapped with banana of different flavoring. So so yummy that we rushed to buy it before boarding the train! Headed to the beach for a walk. So so beautiful!Walked about another km or so, we reached a huge shopping centre which i heard was actually wash away before by the tsunami back in 2006. They manage to replace one which looks equally awesome. Especially when you wasn't expecting to shop in such an area, in fact, i brought quite a bit of products! hehe. A night at Hard Rock Cafe before heading back for a great day tmr:)I personally feel that Phuket is a really nice place to visit. Although many commented that the beach is not like before. But I do appreciate the people there and their tough spirit after the Tsunami. Will blogged about Day 2 soon:)
