Skin Origin Skincare

Hello 2015! I want to come back to blogging so here I am! I miss blogging so much. So, I've changed my template so that it will attract me to come back. Heh. Will update a more recent picture of me and update my "About Me" too. Cause that's too old.

So, I guess I've grown a lot. But the way I blog and write never change. Still me, and words can be so deep when I am exceptionally emotional. I will be penning more thoughts and sharing more things here.. Stay around, watch me grow, watch my own life change as I grew. One day, I will be grateful that I penned these thoughts!

So recently, I brought new skincare from Skin Origin. This is the first time I'm buying such expensive skincare. I usually use Laneige. But because I need very effective results and was recommended by the experts that this will give me the results that I want within 1 month. Basically, I purchase their Gentle Exfoliant Cleanser, Gentle Toner, Epi Gel, Active Repair Essence and Radiance Essence.

There's no much of reviews for Skin Origin's products cause they are not commercialize at all. You can only find these products in Spa and Facial parlours. Manufactured in Spain, Skin Origin products are touted to contain Penta Peptides which is a chain of five amino acids that works at the cellular level and transforms skin with less abrasiveness.

So I'm gonna be the first few to review! The Active Repair Essence and Radiance Essence is Skin Origin's star products. It is $178 each. The price is equivalent to your high end skincare brand like Dior, Chanel etc. No joke. Gentle Exfoliant Cleanser is $89, Gentle Toner is $89 and Epi Gel is $98 if I don't remember wrongly.

I was told to use Active Repair Essence at night and Radiance Essence in the morning. They smell alright but when applying Active Repair Essence, it gives my face a slight stinging feeling which is very bearable.

I was reassured by my therapist that I will get to see the results that I want in 1 month. Besides going to my usual Dr SM Yuen's laser toning and silk peel, I've added IPL and Microdermabrasion from another facial salon. All these treatments is very chor (expensive).

I'm not afraid to share that I've spent close to $6k with Dr SM Yuen on their laser toning and silk peel but to be honest, the results are not as fantastic. I've been with them for close to 1.5 years since November 2013. The staff there are all very friendly and nice. No hard selling. But the results really is so so. And they sell tretinoin cream @ $150 (?) for pathetic 15ml only. It is to boost collagen production. I stopped after purchasing once.

I'm very eager to see good results for my face and I'm hoping that this 1 month will be substantial enough for that one day. Staying hopeful!

Paris in France (Day 1: Gare Du Nord Station, Day 2: Paris Disneyland)

Sometimes occasionally i do ask myself why am i still keeping this blog. But looking back at all my old blogs make me realised how much I've missed doing blogging. Its like a hobby that I slowly grew to have. Taking photos and uploading them. I want to share with my readers some of the places I went and also the things I've tried. So that people reading will learn something out of my blog, or purely just enjoying what I am enjoying.

Took Eurostar from London to Paris.
We departed from Singapore via Emirates Airlines and I must say its the first time i took the airlines and I think their service is awesome! Transit at Dubai for 1.5 hrs and Dubai airport is huge.
Here's what that is at Dubai, free wifi at the airport for all passengers!

I think a longer transit time would be good for us to shop longer. Lol. But all and all it was good! A really safe flight and not much of a turbulence. The reason being, we could have took a flight straight to Paris but because we were meeting our friends in London, hence this complication. So the whole day, we were busy travelling around. It was damn tiring! And really really chilly. Didn't expect the weather to be close to 6 degrees at night.
This is also St Pancras Train Station, this is the connection rail from London to Europe. Its also whereby you get to see 9 3/4 platform!!

Our train arrived at Gare Du Nord station. Which is the main major terminal in Paris. We stay just next to the train station! I believe our hotel name is "New Hotel Gare Du Nord".
We booked it at a relatively cheap price cause we planned way ahead of time. It was really good considering the location.
A night without beer is not Paris. This basically sums up for Paris night.

Day 2 will probably be image heavy.

Cheers to awesome friendship!
If you ask me, is it worth it? I would say yes. Although it cost us approximately 2 hrs back and fro travelling time as Disneyland is at the outskirts of Paris. We spent about 76euros for the tickets each including the transportation. Which is about SGD$120+. To me, it is still worth it. Cause Walt Disney is 1 of the world's most wonderful creation. Honestly, nobody doesn't knows Disney. And Walt is an amazing inspiration. You eventually feel that you've stepped into fantasy when you're in Disneyland. And to me, you will probably go to Disneyland once in every other country. So, why not?

Pumpkin's carriage!
What's Disney without Mickey?
You know, the grass is always greener on the other side of the world.

This basically sums up our day in Paris's Disneyland :)
More updates to come!

Long overdue: Graduation 2012

I've honestly have never thought that I would have made it! But I did! But it was so last year. Posting some of those backlog updates just in case I lost those photos but I didn't lost it in blogger. You know. And finally this year, we manage to have a family photo taken with all of us graduated from Uni. Nothing beats this comfort in heart. Age is honestly catching up on me! I really wanted to share my Europe trip experience and have yet found the time! But I will continue to come back :)
